More than 400 years after the Children of Israel left Egypt, and after the Ark of God had been separated from the Tabernacle, people, Priests, king, and Ark are all brought together in one location-- the new Temple at Jerusalem. Solomon had just completed the work, and the day finally arrived for its dedication. In his prayer, King Solomon asks the question, "Will God really dwell on earth?"
