Everybody (Should) Praise the Lord!

Teacher: Pastor Chris Alford
Series: Sunday Teaching
Passage: Psalm 66
Service Type: Season after Pentecost

You have to admire a worship leader who isn't afraid of telling the whole world to praise the God is Israel. Back in Israel’s history, God’s saving acts and deeds were done in a particular place and for a particular people. But Christians mustn't ignore the Jewish feasts. Why They point to Jesus. We can see Psalm 66 as a psalm of resurrection, too— not just Christ’s once for all Resurrection, but all the little upside-down-to-right-side-up resurrections in God’s story of salvation history, not to mention the even smaller but resurrections we experience every day.

Topics: feasts, Jesus, Passover, praise, psalm, psalmist, remembrance, resurrection, salvation history, Sukkot, worship leader
