In this teaching, Pastor Chris looked to two spots in Scripture where people were called to follow God. The first was an encounter in the New Testament, a story about Jesus and the disciples traveling through Samaria. Three different men are confronted with the possibity of following Christ. In the second story, Elisha was challenged to follow God by serving as Elijah's attendant. The differences between the two Scripture passages may have some things to teach us about living in fear of the Lord.
