60 Seconds with Robert Webber: A Description of Spirituality

Here's another episode of a regular feature here at Epiclesis: "60 Seconds with Robert E. Webber." Webber was a long-time and much-loved professor at Wheaton College, the author of 40 books on the topic of worship, focusing on how the worship practices of the ancient church have value for the present church, the founder of the Institute for Worship Studies, and an important mentor of Pastor Chris Alford.

In this installment, Bob gives what he calls a "description" of historic spirituality ("It's not a definition," he says. "I don't like definitions")-- a description he says that goes right up through the Wesleyan movement but that was lost in modern times.
