The Easter Vigil tradition stretches way back in Christian history, and it’s a sensory-rich worship opportunity. So, join us to experience one of the richest services of the year. The hour-long service will feature candlelight, a brief baptismal renewal, plenty of Scripture reading, and the tradtional sounding of the “strepitus” which symbolizes Jesus’ victory over sin and death.
One helpful note: You may want to bring a small flashlight. The service begins outdoors and proceeds into the darkened chapel lit only by candlelight.
