In the previous week's reading, we had heard John the Baptist's promise that One was coming who would baptize with fire and with the Holy Spirit. Now, on this particular Sunday, we looked at a little spot in John's gospel (and the story of the wedding at Cana) where he writes that with the water-into-wine miracle Jesus "revealed his glory."
