Mutual Indwelling
Cyril of Alexandria has some beautiful commentary on our Scripture in John's Gospel for this particular Sunday. He says that Jesus tells us that He "knitted us through Himself into God the Father. In John 14, Jesus is telling the disciples about His soon departure, but in that marvelous passage, sometimes called Jesus "Farewell Discourse," He not only reveals much about His relationship to the Father, but also much about our relationship to God.
