So Heavenly Minded We're No Earthly Good

Have you heard that phrase before? Someone might say, "Why, they're so heavenly minded that they're no earthly good." Sometimes Christians have such a hunger for the "there and then" that we forget God has tasks for us in the "here and now." If our only song is "This World is Not My Home (I'm Just a-Passin' Through)" we can assume that God's creation is a temporary quagmire to slog through until we get to the good stuff. And yet, God declared His creation "good". This teaching took a close look at a sweeping, epic passage from Isaiah, ostensibly about "end times", to remind us about our "present times" calling.
