Our Scripture passage for this teaching was that great story of Ezekiel's vision of dry bones. Though it's common, and quite natural, to see the episode through the lens of re-creation and restoration, our community of faith cast an eye toward that story through the lens of suffering. Did you know that Ezekiel, the one to whom God gave the vision, was a prophet who suffered greatly?
