Worship Husks and Gospel Kernels

Teacher: Robert Brown
Series: Ancient-Future Faith on KFIA
Service Type: Season after Pentecost

Robert Brown was back once again in the Ancient-Future Faith studio to talk about the remarkable work of Dr. James K.A. Smith, theologian and philosopher. Smith is talking about the ways that liturgies-- both sacred and secular-- shape us. In this episode, Robert and host Chris Alford talked about why the form of worship is critical-- that the Gospel kernel must not be placed in any kind of husk, because no matter whether we realize it, these forms shape what we believe and how we live out our Christian lives.
