An Idle Tale

Teacher: Pastor Chris Alford
Series: Sunday Teaching
Passage: Luke 24:1-12
Service Type: Easter Sunday

“One of the common elements of the resurrection stories across the gospels is that no one expects the resurrection," one commentator has said. When the women returned to tell the disciples what they saw at the tomb on resurrection morning, even those who had been close to Jesus reacted by saying it was an "idle tale." Join Pastor Chris as we explore doubt, growth, and the need to tell the "idle tale" even if the world doesn't believe it.

Topics: disciples, doubt, growth, idle tale, resurrection, tell the story
